"England's Dreaming" was initiated by British fashion designer, Keanan Duffy and British cultural commentator, Jon Savage. Keanan Duffy was inspired by the sociological writings of Jon Savage. Jon Savage is an authority on the punk rock movement. From Jon Savage's unpublished artworks, Keanan was inspired to design two T-shirts which have a distinct influence on the flourescent pink and green designs on "England's Dreaming" and its packaging.
