These new models mark this special occasion with striking G-SHOCK red coloring, which is made possible by using new technology covers them with a coating that has particles mixed in to produce diffuse light, and suppress color and luster. The result is never-before- possible matte red coloring. Even the LCD panels of these models incorporate red coloring to further enhance the G-SHOCK brand identity. The case back is impressed with a 35th Anniversary logo that was created in cooperation with well-known graphic designer Eric Haze, while the band ring is decorated with a group of stars representing the number 35.
