When development work began for this watch, high quality standards and requirements had to be met - for the toughest conditions. A 100% reliable thoroughbred mechanical watch "Made in Germany" resulted from work partly carried out in close cooperation with the German Army and special units. This model “Atacama” is aimed especially at emergency forces, police, military and those who love outdoor activities. In order to give the watch the necessary strength, the sensitive screwed crown has been integrated in an innovative way into the watch strap at the 12 o´clock position. The double joint between the case and strap makes this possible. Due to this the watch fits snugly onto the wrist, and increases wearer comfort. In addition, the screw-down crown ensures water resistance of up to 50 ATM. This Laco squad watch is suited for robust daily use in the toughest conditions - and has a simple, yet distinct design.
